About Au Pair Weekend

What we do

Au Pair Weekend has been the leading education provider for J-1 au pairs in the United States for 20 years. Since 2006, over 60,000 au pairs from 90+ countries have completed our accredited courses to meet their U.S. Department of State education requirements.
We offer self-paced online courses and in-person weekend courses in 13 U.S. cities, all accredited through five U.S. university partners. Our mission is to make J-1 education accessible, flexible, and genuinely useful — both during your program and after.

Accredited

J-1 education credits through Bunker Hill Community College, Seattle Central College, University of Hawaii at Manoa, University of the District of Columbia, and Utah Valley University.

Flexible

Self-paced online courses and weekend in-person courses in 13 U.S. cities. Start any time in the semester. Study on your phone, between shifts, in your own time.

Supported

Program coordinators ready to help in your own language. Over 90% of our students are non-native English speakers, and our courses are designed for that reality.

Trusted

Accepted by Cultural Care, Au Pair in America, AuPairCare, Go Au Pair, and every major J-1 agency. Your host family is required to contribute up to $500 toward your education.
